The Department of Marathi has been established in 2000, Marathi as a special subject for class in 2003.The faculty tried to attract student towards Marathi as a special Subject. The faculty member of the department are sincerely and actively participating in the research extension and faculty development programmers throughout the year. Marathi is our mother tongue if teaching with mother tongue makes life easy and student become ideal and moral. Our faculty members prepare the students to take part in various literary activities and various competition for example Marathi short story translation competition etc. Some of our alumni have shown their talent in business and are leading successful careers in various business.

Most of our alumni completed post graduate degree and completed B.Ed. Course. One of the student Shri Popat Bhosale is national Yoga teacher. Our students Shri Sachin Patil and Shri Uday Patil are teacher and successful storyteller. One of the student Shri Manik Wangikar has passed NET exam and working as an Assistant Professor.
