The Department of Journalism has established in 2003. It offered three-year full time U.G. course. This is a self financed program me and is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Student centric as well as community centric activities are conducted by department. The Department organizes Workshop, Guest Lectures, and Field Visits. Every year Waranai periodical is edited and published by journalism students. A felicitation ceremony is also organized for journalist who has done remarkable work in the field of journalism. The following activities are conducted for students to gain practical knowledge, i) making lab journal, ii) video editing iii) projects on media law iv) clipping v) anchoring vi) making vice over audios.
